Begin your day with coffee on the deck where you can hear the seagulls preach and watch the pelicans dive for breakfast. Experience the glorious sight of the morning sun rising from the water at this charming beachfront retreat.
Welcome to Beach Therapy.
You’re not “near the beach” or “a short walk to the beach.” You’re ON THE BEACH, beachfront, so close that within one minute of the front door, you can put your toes in the water or a chair in the sand. Enjoy the beach view from the couch in the living room, or the dining room table. There’s even a view of the water from the master bedroom window.
The Beach bedroom features a queen bed, a walk-in closet, access to the front deck and a private bath. The view from the Tree bedroom is just what you’d expect, exuding a feeling of sleeping in a treehouse. Another walk-in closet and private bath complete the Tree suite. The brightly decorated flower room features two single beds situated under colorful images of flowers and parrots.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave and coffee maker plus a large pantry. The laundry room with a washer and dryer accommodates those who would enjoy an extended stay.
The Waveland beach stretches for miles in either direction and is family friendly with shallow water and calming waves. It’s perfect for kids to play, and adults to stroll and toast the sunset. Back at the house, the beach breeze makes the deck a comfortable place to relax and share a meal.
Just 5 minutes down the road is the thriving beach town of Bay St. Louis, where you’ll find beach bars, boutiques, galleries and a variety of dining options. Head the other way and you’ll find Buccaneer state park with its wave pool and water slides. If you’re feeling lucky, try the Silver Slipper casino.
Less than an hour from downtown New Orleans, Waveland is a great place for a weekend getaway, or a golf / shopping trip. Jump in the car after work and you’re on the beach before dark. Stay over Sunday evening and be back in the office early Monday morning. Or better yet, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and work from your beach retreat.

The larger family home is in front of the cottage but it does not interfere with your beachview from the porch.

Very nice place. Beach view, the full moon was reflected off the gulf and was just breathtaking. Close enough to everything for JTC but far enough away to get some free time. I highly recommended this property. The owner is very accommodating and friendly.

The house was clean and check in was easy. It’s a very short, easy walk to the beach! The only downside is that the room with twin beds does not have direct access to a bathroom, so you have to go through another bedroom’s door to get to one. Other than that slight inconvenience since we were all adults, our stay was great!
