Purple Parrot was so amazing that we are planning to make this an annual family vacation! The best tip I can give that I wish someone would have told us, is to not go to the "free" beach access. Instead, take a left at Johnson Beach entrance and pay the 25 for the full week pass and get there early to grab the best spots. The bay on the left is great for fishing or snorkeling and the ocean to the right is great for jumping waves as it's quite shallow for quite a distance past where the white caps are. All just a quick walk from parking. The "free" spot is roped off for hotels so you can only walk the beach as there is no space to set up anywhere. Purple Parrot has everything you could possibly need. The pool is incredible and mostly shallow for the kids to enjoy. Fantastic shops nearby. Live music and food at the pool. We will definitely be back!
