A new wooden structure was integrated into the existing stone masonry of a historic 18th-century farm building. As soon as you step inside, you’ll be enveloped by the soothing scent of natural materials, promising you a relaxing vacation.

The ambitious project, the “Renovation of the Old Pfarrer Tenn,” was launched in 2025 by a small project group from the Catholic parish of Gröbming. The blend of historical elements with new architecture, while taking sustainability into account, is evident here: The valuable reclaimed wood from the Tenn was partially reused in the roof trusses and interior design.
