The villa is only 40 minutes from Brindisi airport and 1.5 hours from Bari airport. An ideal base for exploring the Unesco World Heritage Sites of Alberobello and Matera. Our holiday home is located near Cisternino, Ostuni and has been designed with style and comfort in mind to make your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Villa Vesta was started in 2005 and completed in August 2007 in true Italian style. Completely restored in 2021. The villa consists of 6 lamia. The plot is approximately 19,000 square metres and is rich in olive trees and bordered by beautiful and typical dry stone walls, the driveway lined with lavender and rosemary leads past a shady car park to the front of the villa. A beautiful old olive tree is the centrepiece of a small turning circle. The main entrance at the front of the villa is gently shaded under trailing wisteria... We think holidays should be as relaxing and stress free as possible and we have designed and furnished our beautiful home with this in mind. Enter through the front door directly into the spacious open plan kitchen and open plan dining and sitting area. The kitchen and living room form a well-proportioned area in the centre of the villa. A beautiful 200 m² well appointed villa with 5 bedrooms (2 double beds, 4 twin beds, 3 bed room with a single bed and a bunk bed) and modern bright interiors, a fantastic outdoor dining and seating area and a lovely walled and fenced heated swimming pool. The villa offers large living areas, has traditional stone ceilings and archways - a particularly nice feature of the property - and offers air conditioning in all bedrooms. The two large double bedrooms are both en-suite. The kitchen has a high specification. A 5 burner gas hob, electric oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you would expect to find in your own kitchen. In the centre of the kitchen is a beautiful glass table and chairs. Just off the kitchen is a small lobby area with a sofa and bookshelves with TV, DVD player, a selection of books, DVDs and board games. An ideal place for the children to relax before bedtime, relax in the living room on the chocolate brown leather sofas in front of the large flat screen TV. If you have an Amazon, SKY or Google account, bring your passcode to log in and access your own profile. From this area you can access the utility room through a door: here you will find a washing machine, iron, ironing board, sink, cleaning equipment, drying room and a WC. There is also an additional fridge/freezer. The utility is an ideal place to store your suitcases after unpacking. At the living room end of the villa are 2 large double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging space (and lots of wooden hangers). These rooms overlook the pool with their own French doors. The beds are 6ft and the bathrooms are of a very high specification. At the other end of the villa you will find 3 twin bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and hanging space. All the single beds are a good size and comfortably sleep adults. This end of the villa is served by a shared bathroom, remodelled in 2020, with a shower, freestanding bath and twin basins. There are duvets for the cooler months and fans for the warmer months as well as air conditioning in all bedrooms. Air conditioning is available during the hot summer months of July and August. Child friendlyFor the younger members of your party we can provide highchairs and travel cots if required. In the kitchen we provide plastic plates and cups and there is also a small blender which is ideal for chopping up food for the younger guests. The pool is enclosed by a 1 metre high wall with access via a lockable gate. Whilst the pool is normally left uncovered, it is possible to close the safety cover if required. A small selection of children's DVDs and board games are available. The villa is conveniently set in 5 acres of olive groves surrounded by traditional dry stone walls. Rosemary and lavender lined paths lead around the villa and colourful margaritas flow into the olive groves. Raised flower beds harbour a small lemon tree, diascia, plumbago and hanging plants that climb and meander their way up and over the permanent shade of the outdoor kitchen and seating areas. The outdoor kitchen and seating areas are located through the double doors at the rear of the villa. Here you will find a kitchen area with a large dining table and chairs, a barbecue, a sink, a food preparation area and a fridge. The 2-level cushioned seating area is the perfect place to relax in the heat of the day or watch the sunset with a cool drink. Or perhaps you would prefer to relax in the shade of a large olive tree on our terrace. The 12 metre long pool is walled and has a permanent shaded area so you can sit by the pool during the hottest part of the day. There are large cushioned flat sunbeds and an outdoor shower in the pool area. The pool is heated, with the pool and pool area open from May to October, provided the sun is shining. As the weather can be unexpectedly warm or guests are particularly hardy swimmers, the pool can be opened outside of these dates by prior arrangement. We need quite a bit of lead time as we have to liaise with the pool maintenance company and it can then take up to two weeks before the water is safe for swimming. IT074012C200072025
