Welcome to Awarenessome Oasis, a private sanctuary in Niagara created to help you Reset, Rebuild & Rise. Designed by Deny Thomas, RN, for real rest and quiet luxury, this 4-bedroom upper suite features an optional two-person sauna, primary suite jacuzzi, fireplace, and a sunlit deck for morning tea or stargazing. Mindfully furnished for modern comfort, it is the perfect retreat for families, couples, or groups seeking true renewal.

A quiet upper-level suite on a peaceful residential court, designed for real rest. ​Four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, just 5 minutes from Brock University and 15 minutes from Niagara Falls. Professionally cleaned before every stay, the home is well suited for families, remote workers, visiting academics, and guests exploring Niagara.

As a registered nurse, I designed this home around three ideas from my journals: Reset, Rebuild, Rise. It is a calm place to settle in after a long day of travel, work, or exploring.

​Guest Access & Space

​You have private access to the entire upper-level suite and backyard, including all four bedrooms, living room with electric fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, private laundry room, and deck. The lower-level guest suite has a separate entrance and remains private to its guests.

​Parking & Garage

​Driveway: 2 vehicles parked tandem, one behind the other, on the right side closer to the main entrance.

​Garage: Additional parking is available. The garage is accessed from outside using the garage door remote provided inside the suite.

Please Note

​Space & Quiet Hours: You have full access to the upper suite and backyard. A separate guest suite is located on the lower level, so please keep noise low after 10:00 PM.

​Private Two-Person Sauna: Available as an optional paid add-on ($70 per hour). Sauna access is subject to availability and is currently closed for the season. Robes and essential oils in the laundry room closet are reserved for confirmed sauna bookings. Please do not use or remove these items unless you have a confirmed sauna booking.

​Security Cameras: An outdoor camera monitors the front entrance and driveway, and one camera is located inside the garage. There are no cameras inside the suite or living spaces.

Good to Know

​Security System: Please do not arm the security system using Away or Stay mode during your stay.

​Kitchen Door: The door connecting the kitchen to the lower level must remain locked. Opening it triggers the alarm for the lower-level guest suite.

​Garage: The garage cannot be accessed from inside the suite. Use the garage remote provided in the suite and return it to its designated spot after use.

​Garbage & Recycling: Garbage, recycling, and cardboard can be placed in the designated area in the garage.

​Furniture: Please do not rearrange the furniture.

​Plants: Some plants have sharp leaves, so please take care when moving around them.

​Fireplace: Please turn the fireplace off before sleeping or leaving the suite.

​Storage: Additional storage is available underneath each bed.

​Maintenance & Issues: No staff is on site, so please report any maintenance or facility issue as soon as it arises so it can be addressed during your stay.

Interaction with guests

Your peace and privacy are central to your stay at Awarenessome Retreat.

Check-in is fully self-service, giving you the freedom to arrive at your convenience and settle into the home at your own pace.

Other details to note

Pets: Well-behaved pets are welcome with advance approval. The cleaning fee is $75 per pet, per stay. Please clean up after your pet indoors and outdoors.

House rules and fees: To keep the home restful for every guest, the following apply where permitted by platform policy and applicable law:

Smoking or vaping inside: $500
Unapproved party or event: $500
Unapproved pet: $300
Pet waste left in the yard: $100
Unapproved late checkout: $100
Extra cleaning beyond standard turnover: $50 per hour

Illegal drugs and drug-related activity are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in termination of the stay without a refund, plus charges for cleaning, damages, or documented losses.

SAUNA: The sauna is managed remotely and is available for $70 per hour.
- Warm-up: Please allow approximately 1 hour for the sauna to reach operating temperature.
- Session: Your booked sauna time begins once the sauna is activated.
- Automatic shut-off: The sauna automatically shuts off after 1 hour for safety.
- Scheduling: Sauna sessions must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.
- Access: Sauna use is not included in the accommodation rate and is an optional add-on service.

Haven, the lower-level guest suite, has a separate entrance and remains private to its guests. Sound carries between the upper and lower suites, especially in the evening, so thank you for being mindful of your neighbours below and keeping noise low after 10:00 PM. Extended Stays & Local Access
This home is well suited for short-term stays, temporary housing, or visits for work, study, relocation, medical-related stays, or exploring the Niagara region.

Academic: Approximately 5 minutes from Brock University, convenient for visiting faculty, students, researchers, and conference attendees.

Healthcare: Approximately 10–15 minutes by car to Niagara Health’s Marotta Family Hospital in St. Catharines, offering emergency and comprehensive hospital services & 15–20 minutes by car to Greater Niagara General Hospital.
