Our house is located in the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park which is home to the famous Grand Canyon of the Verdon with its majestic gorges and steep slopes of more than 700 meters, which make it one of the major tourist destinations in France.
As for the Verdon river, which separates the departments of Var and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, with its translucent waters, it is ideal for canoeing, kayaking, rowing, paddle boarding and white water sports such as rafting and canyoning.
The lake of Ste Croix, on the other hand, is a paradise for sailing boats (boarding, kitesurfing, optimist, cata, trimaran, habitables, etc.) and fishermen: fishing is open all year round except for certain species where there is a closure to protect them during their spawning period. For pike and zander, fishing is open all year round. Trolling is open from March 13 to October 3.
Important information: no motorboats are allowed on the lake of Ste Croix.
The hikes of the Margès, the Imbut or the Blanc-Martel Trail, among others, as well as the via ferrata and via cordata are mythical as well as the trails, ultra trails and bike and mountain bike rides.

Our house is in a quiet area of the village, at the end of a crossing overlooking a small square with a fountain, 80m from a mini market and an excellent butcher, and 150m from a good bakery and several restaurants, snack bars, bars, shops and hot spot (in winter only the mini market and bakery are open)
400m away is a spa with gym overlooking the mountain open all year round.
In less than 10' walk from the house you are on one of the beaches of Lake Ste Croix, depending on where you direct your steps you will be in a wild corner where you can play Indiana Jones: install a hammock in a remote corner and make huts with the children or on a more frequented beach where you can rent a ⛵ (pedal boat, kayak or canoe, windsurfing, catamaran, paddle or electric boat) and/or do a sailing course or course and eat a hot waffle, an ice cream or a delicious salad lying on a deckchair.
