We had a great stay! The property is very conveniently located to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We had the best lobster right down the road at the lobster shack and great coffee across the street at sweet peas. Would highly recommend!

This is a very nice home conveniently located to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. We had 6 adults and the home was spacious and accommodated all of us comfortably. One minor issue and the property caretaker came out on a holiday to resolve it. He was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips while he was there. While the home does have a nice sized side yard with a picnic table, a couple of chairs and some cute string lights, we did wish that there had been a deck/patio and a fire pit to enjoy the cool evenings and night sky. We weren’t sure where or how to access the beach that is described in the listing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again!

We had a great stay! This home worked perfectly for our family of six. It was clean, well-maintained, and had modern appliances throughout. We appreciated the welcome snacks, the abundance of towels, and the bonus of having laundry detergent provided. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would gladly return.

We recently stayed at this rental and really appreciated the location—it’s on a quiet street but still super convenient to both Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We loved being so close to everything without the noise or crowds.That said, the home itself is in need of some care. It feels quite worn and could benefit from a deep cleaning and some maintenance. For example, the kitchen faucet leaked whenever it was turned on high, and several of the walls had patchwork but hadn’t been repainted yet. The stove dials were so worn that we couldn’t read the temperature settings, which made cooking a bit tricky.The biggest issue for us, though, was the presence of bugs—especially upstairs. Each night, we found numerous bugs in the bedrooms and bathrooms, more than what you would expect, which made it hard to fully relax.We were there for the heat wave and a/c in each room worked great! Overall, we enjoyed the area and the peaceful location, but with some updates and a bit more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, this home could be a much more comfortable place to stay.
