Les Terrasses de Montouret

In August, my Chemin group booked 3 rest days in Les Terrasses de Montouret. We were not just thankful, but truly delighted with our stay. We had the family suite, la drobie, which included 2 rooms. Beyond the expected cleanliness of the place, we were also provided ‘extras’ like a loofah each for a good scrub, and fans in each room - this was the only accommodation on this trip that provided this for the heatwave! We arrived early and Regis was still preparing the rooms. Nonetheless he welcomed us warmly and settled us in a cosy outhouse with refreshments and fruits while we waited. The food provided at the restaurant was way beyond our expectations - Suzanne is a kitchen goddess! The meals were not ‘homey’ like at the other places, but restaurant quality, beautifully-plated, delicious, and generous. The breakfasts were personalised - we ate till we couldn’t fit in anymore. The packed lunches were so generously filled compared to what was provided by other lodgings. We enjoyed the spaces in the property very well - the daily-cleaned & deliciously cool pool, the double hammock, deck chairs & picnics table. We didn’t manage to find time to relish the outdoor hot tub! And it is right next door to the birth house of St Therese Couderc, the reason we hiked from Les Vans to Sablieres. Our hosts were hospitable, warm, accommodating & attentive. In fact Suzanne called us when we did not arrive back in time one day for the dinner we had arranged with her - she was worried & wanted to come ‘rescue’ us! And Nico gave us a scenic ride into town to catch a bus for the next leg of our chemin. We were sad to leave Les Terrasses because we had felt so well looked after & can we say, loved? We cannot wait for the next opportunity to visit again with our friends.

Prachtige locatie en voortreffelijke service. Suzanne kan trouwens overheerlijk koken !

Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique. Possibilité de dîner sur place, et c’était excellent ! Petit déjeuner à la carte pour éviter le gaspillage : très judicieux 😊 Emplacement géo très calme, et dans un cadre sauvage magnifique !

Un petit miroir en complément sur le mur de la salle de bain serait un plus pour les🤓myopes 😉et Pte l’isolation phonique du mini frigo….

Le lieu est magique et la maison d’hôtes pleine de charme. Les hôtes sont accueillants, disponibles et charmants. La cuisine est riche, variée, toujours très bonne et ouverte sur le monde.
