Hotel Gianni Franzi

The view was perfection.

The walk up the stairs was no joke. Also, even though there was sign, people kept coming up to our deck to take photos. They were right outside our door forcing us to close the curtains…blocking our view.

Beautiful. Modern. Great view. And unique.

The steps are not great, but that’s the nature of the area.

The room is up several flights of stairs but the reward for climbing them was an excellent panoramic view of the Ligurian Sea. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and served on the Gianni Franzi Deck, a small dining area with that same great view. We actually ate 2 lunches at the Deck. The pesto gnocchi was some of the best we've tasted. The chef came out to talk with us and was very engaging. The best part was the Gianni Franzi deck was away from all the tourist activity - it's a hidden gem! The reception area for check-in was at the main restaurant's bar which we had a little trouble finding even though it was right there in the piazza. The staff was very accommodating on storing our bags and letting us check in early.

good view from the 3rd floor and very nice view from the restaurant.. open sea view. the breakfast is good and its not too crowded.

this hotel is located on the up hill, you need good energy to get there and we are given room at level 3. someone mess around with the fire alarm and it rings at 11:44pm, everybody rush out and luckily it was only a false alarm.
