The moment you step inside, it's like you have stepped into the 1950s. The bright interior is furnished with colorful and eclectic vintage decor and furniture from the 1950s - a blast to the past. You'll find that the kitchen supplies are vintage, as well as a collection of vintage board games and books. The kitchen is also equipped with a farm-style range and a sink with a 180-degree view. Warm yourself and cuddle up with a great vacation read next to the grand stone fireplace, while your loved ones gather and play board games or watch Netflix.
Two bedrooms are located in the cabin, and the detached suite above the garage is a private hideaway with a mini-fridge and en suite bathroom. Clean cute eclectic cottage!Shops are close by and the Brew House and Red Kettle are definitely great places to eat! It was a nice weekend stay with my family and fireplace was wonderful.Firewood was included too!My son loved all the old books and Sears Catalog!

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and very cozy. We loved the layout. Over all we hsd a great trip and took care of the cabin as if it were ours. We will be back again.

Overall we did really enjoy the stay, thus the 4 stars. The house was cozy, big, and the location was great, it was fully stocked with heaters, kitchen supplies, and had a great yard. We also loved the big claw foot tub and nice hot water. Two big bonuses, the house was ready early so they let us check in early, free of charge. And because the house wasn’t rented the night after our stay they offered us a nice, late check out for a very reasonable cost. However for full transparency, there were a few issues. The first thing that was tricky is that because it’s operated by a management company, we didn’t have any contact with a person until after we checked out. The flue in the fireplace wouldn’t stay closed and would bang open if you did try to close it and we didn’t get a response on the vrbo app until we’d checked out. When we messaged the number Vacassa (the management company) messaged us through about checkout cleanup we just got a generic message that wasn’t for the specific property. The other is that the house could have been cleaner. There were hot Cheetos under one bed, and the trundle under another was dirty enough we didn’t want our kids to sleep on it. Also, there were a few food spots that hadn’t been cleaned up under the kitchen table. However, the sheets, kitchen and bathroom was very clean, and things were neat. I suspect the antique items like the rug under the dining room table in the house lend themselves to being hard to clean. Overall we’d stay again.
