The remodel that was done recently is awesome. They couldn't have done much more than they did we were extremely happy with the new rooms. We stayed in before and after and it looks like they knocked it down a built it brand new.
That there aren't any stores or restaurants in close proximity to walk to. There are plenty within short driving distance just not good if you aren't mobile.

Location and price was good.
The hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke, was unpleasant but tolerable.

Ann greeted me at the front desk. She is amazing and so friendly! She also helped with an issue we had later on and it was resolved in no time at all! The beds were comfy -- the kitchen area was so handy. For the price, during Railbird, this was an absolute gem!
Air conditioner must have had smoke residue from before it went non-smoking. It wasn't horrible, but was definitely lingering.
