The hidden garden. We walked in off a busy stretch of the 9th and found a quiet courtyard wrapped in old glass, with a fountain, gravel paths, and tables set under the veranda. Breakfast there, with the doors open and the city barely audible, was the best hour of the trip. The building feels like a collector’s house rather than a new hotel: stained glass, pink marble, velvet, and rooms that do not all look the same. Staff were warm without being fussy, the room was quiet and beautifully finished, and the elevator is a real gift in a Paris building this age. Place de Clichy metro is a two-minute walk, Montmartre is close, and the neighborhood still feels lived-in. For a hotel that had only just opened, it already felt settled.

We had the most magical stay and loved everything about this place. Every little detail is so well thought through – the décor, the lighting, the fabrics and materials – you step in and are immersed in beauty! Breakfast was amazing and the staff was incredibly attentive. We love the area around the hotel and it's located perfectly to get around. We hope to come back soon – a great thank you to Joaquim and the whole team!
