Stara Weligama

We had an amazing stay at Stara Weligama and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property was comfortable, well maintained, and in a great location, but what truly made our stay special was the owner’s hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to help us throughout our trip, providing excellent recommendations for surfing, restaurants, and places to visit around Weligama. We were also celebrating my friend's birthday during our stay, and upon my request, he kindly helped arrange a cake and flowers, making the occasion extra special and memorable. His attention to detail and willingness to assist with everything made us feel genuinely welcomed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weligama. We would definitely love to stay here again.

The stay can work on the these two things... The bathroom doesn't have a door,just curtains. The Room should have a mirror,currently its only available in the washroom.

We booked very last minute and the owners were so accommodating!! Pathum helped us with our enquiries about bike rental, gave us AMAZING food recommendations, let us have his chilled beer from the fridge. Overall a brilliant stay, 1000% recommend this hotel!

Beds are noisy and only get one small pillow.

We had a good stay here in Weligama. It’s a simple setup with rooms and a pantry, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. It is very safe to say that it is a very safe and pleasent place for female travellers too. Good value for money overall. Highly recommended! Worth a visit for a second round.
