M&W Hostel

I honestly don't even know where to begin. These people are angels, angels, and more angels. The owners are among the most incredible, kind-hearted and compassionate people I have met during my entire journey through Armenia. Armenians are extraordinary people. Unfortunately, as the country opens up to tourism, I feel that several people working in the tourism business increasingly see tourists as walking wallets. In my experience, the attitude can be absolutely appalling, especially when you're travelling on a tight budget. I had just had a terrible experience at the hostel next door, Cozy and Classy Hostel, which I absolutely, absolutely do NOT recommend, mainly because of the attitude of the receptionists and the overall experience. It was honestly horrible. I arrived here feeling desperate, asking if they had any availability. And here comes the incredible part: they were actually fully booked, but somehow, they managed to find a bed for me. You have to understand that I am disabled and was having serious knee problems at the time, so I was really struggling. These ladies were simply extraordinary. They put me in a room that was incredibly comfortable, even better than the one I had originally booked elsewhere. It was an upgrade, of course, but what really mattered was the way they welcomed me. They treated me as if I were a member of their own family. I cannot even begin to explain how much that meant to me. The help and kindness they offered me went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. Their generosity, compassion and genuine concern touched me deeply, and I will never forget it. As for the hostel itself, it is in a great location, very close to the city centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is lovely, and you meet really cool people here. Everyone is friendly, and it is a wonderful place to stay. I recommend this hostel 1,000%!

I liked how convenient everything was during my stay. It was easy to organize my days, explore different parts of Yerevan and come back to a comfortable place in the evening. The hostel had a nice, relaxed vibe, and I enjoyed my time there.

L'emplacement et centrale et à la fois au calme ,et à la fois dans un beau quartier culturel ,agréable ,c'est un endroit idéal . J'ai beaucoup aimé l'ambiance et les hôtes qui étaient très gentils.

The location is good, room itself and bed garments were clean.

The second floor bathroom is shared between too many people and usually disgusting, the host don't like when you got to other bathrooms, specially the third floor one where they live (Which is the only one that doesn't permanently smell like piss). On our two week stay there was a guest hosted on the second floor's couch which made it uncomfortable to go by and removed the second floor's common area. Additionally, our room was in front of a big, bright building. While not the hostel's fault it's there, the curtains are thin and let most of the light trough.
