Welcome to L'ALPA, a haven of peace on the edge of the forest with its magnificent view of the valley and its Nordic spa.
More than just a chalet, this place is the result of a family project in which we have put all our heart to welcome you to this refuge nestled on the heights of the Ménil.
L'ALPA offers you all the comfort and equipment to make you feel at home.
A few minutes from all shops, hiking trails, mountain resorts and tourist sites.
The accommodation
The chalet is on two levels and you will enjoy an outdoor area in the middle of nature.

As soon as you enter, let yourself be seduced by a large living room bathed in light, where large openings frame a spectacular view of the valley, like a natural picture changing as the hours go by.
The wood-burning fireplace (provided) will warm up the winter days and bring comfort to your guests evenings while having fun with the family with the board games at your disposal.
From the living room, you have direct access to the terrace and the garden with its Nordic spa.
As for the kitchen, we have planned everything so that you don't miss anything: induction hob, oven, dishwasher and even a washer-dryer if necessary. The fridge also has a real freezer compartment.
For your breakfasts, you will find everything you need on site: a Nespresso coffee maker (with a few capsules to start), a kettle with tea and herbal teas, and a toaster.
And for your evenings in the mountains, the raclette and fondue set awaits you!
For dishes and cooking, it's complete: you'll find everything you need: from pots and pans to utensils, wine glasses, beer glasses or champagne flutes.
You can prepare real meals without worrying about the equipment.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms.
The first has three single beds (90x190), two of which can easily be joined together to form a large double bed according to your needs.
The second bedroom has a double bed (140x190) and a desk area with a screen available. All you have to do is plug in your computer to work a little or have a movie night comfortably installed under the duvet. When you wake up, enjoy the view from your bed.

To enjoy the outdoors, the terrace is south-facing with a large table and parasols for lunch in the shade. Two deckchairs and two deckchairs are waiting for you to read, rest or simply admire the view in peace.
If you like to cook outside, the stone barbecue and even a charcoal pizza oven will allow you to prepare convivial meals (charcoal not provided).
And of course, there is the Nordic bath. It can accommodate 4 to 5 people and it is heated by wood, which we put at your disposal. It is the perfect place to completely disconnect from everyday life and enjoy nature in 40° water, day and night, whatever the season.
Important Information: Spa unavailable (Water restrictions)
Due to a prefectural decree limiting the use of water in the Vosges, the Nordic spa is unavailable from June 26 to September 30, 2026 (filling prohibited).
If the situation improves and the restrictions are lifted by the authorities during your stay, we will be happy to put it back into service. Thank you for your understanding for this eco-responsible gesture!

All year round, enjoy the immediate proximity of Le Thillot and its many shops. In a few minutes, you will be on the ski resorts and snowshoe trails to experience the magic of winter.
On sunny days, the village is transformed into a paradise for hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts, offering breathtaking panoramas of the Vosges balloons.

Traveller access
The accommodations are private and entirely at your disposal, including the Nordic spa.
The chalet is located at the end of an authentic forest path (earth and pebbles) of about 100 metres. Access is complete self-guided via a key box. Parking is in the private area of the grounds.

Important advice:
• Vehicles: Access to very low sports cars is not recommended. In winter (Nov-March), snow equipment is mandatory (Mountain Law).
• Driving: We thank you for driving at a walking pace and for carrying out your manoeuvres smoothly in order to preserve the path

Other remarks
The price includes bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (the accommodation must be maintained during your stay and left in a correct condition when you leave).

We offer the rental of bathrobes for the Nordic bath at the rate of 10€ for all travelers.

A late departure at 4pm is possible subject to availability and for an additional charge of 45€. The request must be made preferably at the time of booking.

For safety reasons (stairs, fireplace, Nordic bath, etc.) we do not accept children under 3 years old.
