The contemporary ‘L’-shaped kitchen is stylish and well organised with a convenient washing machine. Next to this is an extendable dining table with seating for four. Put your feet up on the plump sofa in the lounge area with a wood burner, smart TV and views of the garden. Also on the ground floor is a shower room. Upstairs is another bathroom, bath with shower attachment, plus two bedrooms – a king-size zip-and-link plus a double. Outside is a garden and games room which are shared with neighbouring properties.


During your stay in the rural village of Holme-on-Spalding-Moor start your day with a visit to the local bakery – there are also a handful of shops, a cafe and restaurants within 1 mile. Take Fido for a stroll around the lakes of Burnby Hall Gardens (10 miles) or wander through the woodland of the North Cliffe Wood Nature Reserve (4.5 miles). Delve into the Roman and Viking history of York (19 miles) – where you’ll also find independent eateries and shops. Go for a swim at the sandy dog-friendly Hornsea Beach (28.5 miles).
