Just a little further north, Sennybridge (1 mile) has a choice of great pubs and is the site of the remains of Castell Ddu. To the east, walkers can enjoy the views from Cefn Llechid (1.5 miles). Heading further into the Brecon Beacons, the majestic Pen Y Fan (9 miles) is the highest peak in South Wales, and Llangorse Lake (16.5 miles) is a popular spot for boating, birdwatching and water sports. The thriving market town of Brecon (10 miles) is known for its medieval cathedral.

Entering this stylishly decorated property, you will find the thoughtfully organised kitchen with exposed stonework and a welcoming country atmosphere. Find all you need here to cook up Welsh feasts for your loved ones, who can gather in the charming dining room to enjoy the chef’s work. After dinner, head through to the lounge where group movie nights are made easy thanks to the crackling wood burner, Smart TV and soft seating. At the end of each busy day away, head upstairs and choose from three restful bedrooms: a master king-size room with ensuite bathroom a double, and a twin bedroom. Serving the bedrooms and completing the interior is a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor shower room both with WC's.

Outside, make full use of the private patio. This peaceful space boasts outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ, offering the perfect spot for al fresco morning brews and evening meals. Guests will also benefit from private parking for three cars.
