We loved our stay at the Donner. We stayed for the month of July. We were walking/hiking distance to nearby hiking and mountain biking trails. It could not have been in a better location for the activities we were looking to do. It was also a short 5 minute drive to the downtown area. The house had everything we needed. We loved playing pool and other games in the evenings and hanging out on the massive porch. For summer guests, the only thing to consider is that this property does not have AC. There was a heat wave during our stay, and we had several days where the upstairs would get to roughly 85 degrees farenheit. We were working remote for the month and had a few uncomfortable afternoons. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend staying at this property. Great location for all summer and winter activities.
