Heaven on Harrelson is waiting to provide a wonderful space to create new memories and continue vacation traditions. This 1,080-square-foot home plus a screened porch features a custom-built living room table, a desk and table in the bunk room for remote work, and a table, chairs, and benches from reclaimed wood in the dining room. Enjoy easy beach access and gorgeous views overlooking a tranquil lagoon from the spacious rear deck with a picnic bench overlooking the water. A fishing pier is also present for those who want to spend mellow days casting a line. Whether you enjoy birdwatching, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or just a spectacular view of Edisto's beauty, the vantage points from this home are sure to wow guests of all ages.
A bright interior will remind you that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. The well-equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a new Bosch dishwasher, and a layout that opens to the dining/living area, allowing you to laugh about your day at the beach. The chef in your group prepares a Lowcountry feast. Internet access and a TV will keep you entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. Spend your evenings on the spacious, screened porch equipped with rocking chairs and a porch swing that will have you relaxing in true Southern style. Quintessential Edisto! It ain’t Kiawah or Isle of Palms so if that is what you want, go elsewhere! The houses here have your wear and tear that you would expect from an old school family beach that had been able to avoid the over commercialized beaches that take away from the family experience. Heaven on Harrelson is great! The “master” mattress was fantastic, actually! Only real negative, for all the “stuff” in the kitchen, it is surprisingly ill equipped. If you need a sharp knife, bring your own. Oh! And an actual working whisk too.

Great family vacation!Very close to the beach and you have everything you need in this beautiful house. Definitely recommended

This rental is an easy five minute or less walk to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The rental is close to the only grocery store around. It’s dog friendly which is nice. When we arrived the garbage disposal wasn’t working and during our stay we found the washer wasn’t working either. Not a big deal for us and easily reported for repair but the place overall is a bit “tired.” It was fine for the week but would probably stay elsewhere if we return to Edisto.
