This was a beautiful spot on the Toccoa River. Our family spent most of our time out on the porch, which stayed surprisingly cool despite the heat wave. The house was well appointed, with comfy beds and plenty of room for three couples, and it was located close enough to town that we could enjoy dinner out and get back for sunset on the water. The management company responded quickly to our concerns with the AC. The fix was not great - an old window unit that had seen better days - but they tried! One note: bring your own kayaks/paddleboards - those at the house are not for guest use unfortunately. The water rises about 1 p.m. each day and the current is swift and freezing cold. Early floats are easier if you want to stay close to the house.
