Penryn makes a wonderful base for a family or couple to enjoy Devon's country and coastline.

Ilfracombe is a bustling town with two beaches, situated on the North Devon coastline, a short drive from Exmoor National Park. Ilfracombe has a harbour, pubs, restaurants and shops, and a day trip from the town to Lundy Island isessential. The villages of Lynton, Lynmouth, Clovelly, and the town of Hartland, plus many walking routes are all close by. Ilfracombe is an ideal at any time of year.

The accommodation was excellent but Ilfracombe is very shabby and run down and the location of the property looked very shabby

property in a good location clean and comfortable a little dated but has everything needed for an enjoyable stay

Old style nice property but in a run down area, however the rooms were large and bright and nicely presented. Some quaint touches with decor made the experience enjoyable. Pleasant owner who was helpful. The location was convenient for all that Ilfracombe had to offer with shops, bars and the harbour close by. Parking was a lottery although we were lucky and managed to find a parking space when needed. We had an enjoyable week staying at Penryn.
