Centenary Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with an AGA range cooker, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and a sitting room with a gas stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a child’s bunk bed, along with a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden patio with a bench, off-road parking for 1 car and further roadside parking available. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a pub, within 1.9 miles a shop, within 0.3 miles a river, within 0.9 miles a lake, and within 1.5 miles a canal. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. The Neighborhood:

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2014, The Sunday Times named Skipton as Britain's "best place to live" and two years later placed it among the nine best towns in Yorkshire and the North-East. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short travel. Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally and the excellent public transport means the car can be left at home!
