Baita Fraina

Everything was great. Really enjoyed staying here. The room was spacious and clean. Location was perched on a hill overlooking the town and golf course in front, so the views were sensational. The hotel has a restaurant which we opted to include for the dinner and breakfast. Both well worth it, the food I could not fault and service was superb. i would definitely stay here again. Very relaxed vibe and needed after a big day hiking. Thankyou for a super stay.

It’s a bit far from Cortina centre. It’s 15 min drive by car . The taxi cost around 40 euros return to Cortina.

A true gem run by a family and team who go out of their way to cater to those in staying or visiting the outstanding restaurant. The rooms and beds are high quality.

The only minor point for improvement is the coffee - which was weak and slightly bitter.

We had a wonderful stay at Baita Fraina. The location is very peaceful and quiet, yet close to Cortina and easy to reach by car. It was also a great base for Tre Cime di Lavaredo, which took about 35 minutes by car to the entrance gate. The newly renovated bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The staff were professional, friendly, and very thoughtful — they even prepared a breakfast box for us when we had to leave early for our hike. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent, and having breakfast outside with the beautiful mountain views was a highlight. Highly recommended!
