After reading a previous review and specifically one (very negative) review I was very sceptical booking this property. As we were staying 1 night only, I decided to take a chance as the photos on the advertisement, and the rates were just too good not to go and see and make up my own mind about the place. I am very pleased to report that we were pleasantly surprised and amazed with the entire experience. The location of the apartment was ideal as it was on the ground floor with the entire property being elevated giving amazing views of the mountain and ocean. On arrival we were greeted and given our keys to the property by our friendly and welcoming hosts, Sharlene and her husband Jogi. We were taken on a pathway through a small, beautiful little garden to the apartment at the back of the property where we were met with amazing ocean and mountain views. A small built-in pool, garden and patio area with braai facilities serviced the apartment. The apartment itself was clean and neat as a pin with modern, high-end finishes, immaculately furnished with everything you could possibly need in a self-catering unit. Even with it raining most of the time, we were super satisfied, cozy and comfortable wrapped in soft, warm blankets with sea views and wave sounds from the couch in the open plan kitchen-lounge area. Sharlene and Jogi, thank you so much for putting your time, heart and soul into this space. It is beautiful and something you could be so proud of. Both Lister and I said that we have never slept so comfortable as those beds and linen are just something else. I am still wondering if the person that wrote that bad review went to the same place as our experience was something totally different even up to the security issues mentioned. We will definitely be back... most probably more often than you would like as my husband even asked if the place was up for long term renting! Looking forward to our next break-away visit.

The neighbor in front of the property has put up an unauthorised installation that partially blocks the otherwise uninterrupted ocean views; however, this is not a deal breaker as you still get amazing views of the ocean and mountain from the property and garden.

Amazing location! Beautiful surroundings, convenient and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area.

Everything was right outside my door from the ocean to the OK mini mark. Lovely getaway. Will definitely be returning
