Secluded and idyllic, with the sea literally on your doorstep—whether you prefer to relax on the sandy beach or spend lazy afternoons on the dock, you’ll find your perfect spot. If a little competitive spirit is called for, there’s also a soccer goal, a ping-pong table, and a selection of outdoor games to keep everyone entertained.
The Property
Set on a 10,000 m² lot (1 hectare), the property features 100 meters of private shoreline, including a sheltered sandy beach and a large dock., When you rent the entire property, both houses and the entire grounds are exclusively yours—with no neighbors in sight, your privacy is fully guaranteed.
The lower house
The lower house offers a total of five bedrooms—three in the main building and two with separate exterior entrances, ideal for guests who prefer their own space.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large dining table and a dishwasher. The living room is warm and inviting, featuring a cozy fireplace, two sofas, and additional seating—perfect for playing board games while enjoying the view. There is also a TV and Wi-Fi throughout the house.
A bathroom with a toilet, shower, and washing machine rounds out the interior. Outside, a front patio with a large table and grill is the ideal spot for dinner at sunset. A second patio at the back, overlooking the garden and lawn, catches the morning sun—a beautiful setting for breakfast and lunch.
The Upper House
The Upper House features three bedrooms and a bright living room with a view over the terrace and out to the sea. It offers two sofas, a coffee table, a TV, and another beautiful fireplace.
The adjoining kitchen was recently renovated and is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and dining table. The bathroom has also been newly renovated and features a toilet and shower. A large wraparound terrace with a dining table and grill makes outdoor living a pleasure, and the house also has a washing machine, a dryer, and Wi-Fi.
Included in the rental price
Guests have access to several grills throughout the property, as well as an OFYR fire pit for cooking over an open fire—a real highlight on summer evenings.
A sailboat and a rowboat are also available for anyone who wants to explore the surrounding waters.
Getting Here & the Surrounding Area
The property is located on Orrön, one of the outermost islands of the Stockholm Archipelago, adjacent to Nämdö National Park — the first marine national park in the Baltic Sea, inaugurated in 2025. A visit to the park is highly recommended during your stay.
The island is rich in wildlife. White-tailed eagles are a common sight, gray seals occasionally make an appearance, and the waters offer excellent fishing for pike and perch.
To reach Orrön, you can travel by private boat (the dock is deep enough for sailing), by water taxi directly to the pier, or by ferry from Stavsnäs or Saltsjöbaden—both of which are easily accessible from Stockholm by car or bus.
On the neighboring island of Nämdö (about 5 minutes by motorboat), you’ll find a grocery store, a restaurant, and a gas station. Grocery deliveries to the dock via Mathem are also available—and very popular with guests.
