Stay in a historic Umgebindehaus in Bertsdorf-Hörnitz, the village chosen as "Saxony's Most Beautiful Village" in 2003. On our spacious property, you can relax on cozy benches, the outdoor seating area, or sun loungers to enjoy the peace and nature, or end your evening with a barbecue. Hiking and walking trails start right at the house, for example to the sandy beach of Lake Olbersdorf, up Breiteberg, or to the mountain inn Koitsche. Bertsdorf-Hörnitz has its own station on the Zittau narrow-gauge railway (steam train), which also takes you into the Zittau Mountains.



Many excursion destinations are close by, such as the Trixi pool in Großschönau, Hainewalde Castle, the spa towns of Oybin and Jonsdorf with cross-country ski trails in winter, and Waltersdorf at the foot of the Lausche. Poland and the Czech Republic, with beautiful ski resorts, are also inviting for trips. Nearby Zittau offers many shopping opportunities and its historic old town is perfect for a stroll.



The apartments each accommodate up to three people (third person on a sofa bed in the living room), have a separate bedroom, and plenty of storage space in the bathroom. Towels, bed linen, and hairdryer are included.
