A breezy stone cottage offering tranquil harbourfront views across the port of Mousehole on the West Cornish Coast. This elegant abode is the perfect base for family getaways or a seaside escape with old friends. Set sail from the harbour (200 metres) and glide alongside the beautifully rugged coastline of Mount’s Bay learning tales from a local skipper, before kicking back with fresh bakes and tea in the elegant lounge.

This Grade II-listed property blends historic features with sleek beach house charm. Picture exposed beams, earthy rattan textures, crisp neutral tones, and playful nautical styling. Unravel outer layers at the door then step into the airy lounge. Sink onto the plump sofas to sip a sparkling aperitif. In cooler months, curl up beneath a plush blanket and bask it the warmth of the electric wood burner. If you’re in the mood to cook, head into the well-equipped kitchen complete with granite work-surfaces. Whip up a hearty evening feast then dine around the wooden table bathed in the glow from the hanging light. Rinse off sandy toes in the shower room before ascending the staircase to the bedrooms. Choose from a stylish king and a bright double each with crisp linens and coordinated soft furnishings. Little ones can escape to the sunny single room with a trundle bed to accommodate an extra guest. Step out and enjoy a gentle morning stroll along the picturesque harbour or scope out the selection of fabulous beaches nearby.

Amble through the narrow streets of Mousehole (within 100 metres) to scope out the best local brunch spots serving up cooked breakfasts and frothy coffees. Peruse the work of a local Cornish artist with a jaunt to The Mowzer Gallery (within 100 metres) then embark on a scenic stroll to the pebbly crescent of beach at Lamorna Cover (2.5 miles).
