The rural village of Llanddaniel Fab is ideally located to make the best of all that Anglesey has to offer from it's award winning beaches to the Unesco World Heritage sites of Caernarfon and Beaumaris castles. Discover the magnificent Llanddwyn Beach, offering three miles of golden sands boasting stunning walks and striking views across the glistening sea towards the Welsh Mountains, or explore the fascinating National Nature Reserve, renowned for its colourful birdlife, whispering forest and huge sweep of marshes and dunes. Menai Bridge with its excellent shops and restaurants is a short distance away, from there you can cross the magnificent Telford Bridge to visit the university city of Bangor and its beautiful cathedral, the city has a great vibe and is popular with young and old alike. For a taste of history, visit The National Trust’s Plas Newydd country house and gardens, which is a short drive and well worth a visit. Six miles away is a riding centre and just seven miles away, the historic town of Beaumaris, with its medieval castle and Victorian pier, offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, whilst the whole of the island boasts superb watersports, fishing, diving and walking opportunities. From the village itself are some wonderful countryside walks, the village favourite is a walk to the neolithic tombs of Bryn Celi Ddu, one of the most mysterious and ancient tombs in all of Wales.
