Outside, there is an enclosed, rear garden with patio, lawn, and furniture, and roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Sheringham was originally a small fishing village on the North Norfolk coast, but with the arrival of the railways in 1887 it prospered and grew into a popular holiday town. Enjoy walking along the East or West promenades, offering sea views with blue skies and red sunsets, a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden sands with rock pools and streams next to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats and a RLNI lifeboat station with museum.
