This cottage sleeps three people in two ground floor bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one single, together with a ground floor bathroom with roll-top bath. The cottage also has a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside the property there's off road parking for six cars. Electric Vehicle 7Kw Type 2 Charging Point - availability and cost by arrangement with the owners. Brightley Mill Barn is an excellent base for a couple or small family.
The Neighborhood:
Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life (where Tourist Information can be found) and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory running trains along a scenic route to Meldon the highest station in southern England.
