Check in was fine although later than we’ve ever been able to check in before (5pm). I did message the host to ask for an earlier check in and got no response. House location is great and can get parked outside. As soon as we got there, a smoke detector in the bedroom was beeping constantly. There was no chance we could have slept in the bedroom. I messaged the host again and still no response. I called the number that was on the email, left messages and no response. The last thing we could do was call Vrbo who was very understanding and also called the owner…..no response!!!!!!
House is very tired looking and looked stripped back. No cushions like in the photos so looked very bare, basic and sparse. TV set up is archaic, only 2 wine glasses available as examples.
The property has potential but does need investment.
