The space
Set beside our farmhouse on peaceful Morndyke Farm, Morndyke Cottage is a welcoming two-bedroom countryside retreat sleeping up to three guests.

Surrounded by open farmland, fishing lakes and rural walks, it offers a relaxing escape in the heart of North Yorkshire.

Inside, the cottage features a comfortable living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering stays, two bedrooms (one king and one single), and a modern shower room. It’s ideal for couples, small families or friends looking to explore the Yorkshire countryside.

We are pet friendly and welcome 1–2 small to medium-sized dogs (guests must read and agree to the pet terms and conditions prior to arrival).

Guests can enjoy scenic rural walks directly from the doorstep and may book a fishing pitch on one of our on-site lakes for an additional fee. Advance booking is recommended.

Beyond the garden lies the UK’s second-largest parrot sanctuary. Guests can book a private parrot experience, where the owner provides a guided tour (advance notice required). All proceeds go directly to supporting the registered parrot charity.
