As advertised - this home/property was the prime reason for a great stay in Moneta, VA. The layout of the house was spacious, well appointed, and a perfect layout for relaxing with our family. The dock area was awesome—great for unwinding and really enjoying the lake/cove. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful lake getaway.

Everything was really nice except the heater did not work on the main floor

Very clean inside and out. All starter supplies lasted our six-day stay. Lots of nice touches like bagged ice in freezer, frig on both floors, ceiling fans in all rooms, balconies, and dock. Hotel quality linens and towels. Enjoyed using Blackstone griddle plus other grilling options. Paddle boards were fun and listening to music through doc speakers. Fishing charter with Captain Tony of ReelRock Adventures was great! Would come again!

This was our second time at this cabin on beautiful Smith Mountain lake. We had everything we needed last year, but this year we were disappointed in several big misses. Unlike last year, we did not have access to the bar on the deck. As a result, we didn’t have lights on the deck in the evening, and we didn’t have access to the Floaties or the paddles for the two standup paddle boards nor a paddle for the canoe. Luckily, we were able to get the paddles we needed from the boat rental place. For the Floaties, we had to go out and purchased them as well as an air pump. If we would’ve known we wouldn’t have had access to those items again this year, we would’ve brought our floaties from home. The house itself is great. Perfect amount of space to spread out for an extended family with teenagers. It is also a great location, not too far from the action, but also in a quiet cove.
