Titicaca House Mariela

TOUT ! Le cadre magnifique, le dîner pris sur place (35 soles), la décoration de la chambre, le petit déjeuner et surtout la gentillesse de Mariela et Oscar. Ils ont été très arrangeants et sont venus nous chercher (17h) et nous ont ramené aux horaires qui nous convenaient (5h). Nous recommandons énormément pour un séjour dépaysant !

Il faisait très froid dans la chambre le matin mais nous nous y attendions (normal pour une nuit sur le lac). Et nous ne savons pas pourquoi mais nous n’avions pas d’eau le matin (peu gênant pour notre départ à 5h)

We were welcomed by our host, Oscar, whose friendliness and positive energy were contagious. He immediately made us feel at home and introduced us to his wife, Mariella. Oscar and Mariella stay in a separate house nearby, while the house we stayed in was spotless, comfortable, and clearly furnished with great care and attention to detail. It was especially nice to see that many of the decorations and products in the house were handmade by them. They also helped arrange our meals and tour, which made everything easy and stress-free. Their hospitality was exceptional, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing by Lake Titicaca was a wonderful experience. If you're visiting Peru and want to experience something more authentic and personal than a standard hotel stay, this is the place to book. We highly recommend it.

El lugar es muy lindo, cómodo y acogedor, tiene una vista increíble y el trato es excepcional, 100% recomendado para todos, fue una estadía increíble! ❤️

A huge thank you to Oscar and Mariela for their kindness, their warm welcome, for sharing their culture with us, and also for the organization (upon arrival in Puno and on the return, for the Uros Islands tour, the trip to Taquile Island, and the delicious breakfasts and dinners brought to the house). As for the house, it is very beautiful and very well located, a little away from the main tourist area, which allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet.

I have nothing negative to say. It's cold in the evening, but that's due to the altitude and being close to the water, and you sleep very well despite that because the bed is very, very warm, which is very pleasant.
