Big open floor plan with excellent views of the bay. Sunsets are incredible. Excellent for a getaway

This house has great views, a nice dock and was in a good location in Boothbay. The basement was musty; it cleared out a bit by the end of our stay, but with an older home that’s rented I would think the owners would provide a permanent fix. The basement also needed more than one dehumidifier - it was humid and moist for our full stay, so the upstairs was the only enjoyable area.

Cleaners didn't remove trash from previous renters and trash storage area is built into the house by the kitchen. We had to deal with a horrible trash smell for most of the week.
Also, we booked on VRBO but all correspondence came from Vacasa. I don't remember every paying such huge fees and would think they could at least clean, t as ke out the trash and make sure the toilet bowl kids were attached. Yes, when we showed up one of the kids want attached.
