This charming 80-square-meter vacation apartment on the first floor of the rustic half-timbered house “Hinter den Höfen” warmly welcomes up to 4 guests. The sunny living area features a cozy sofa corner, a flat-screen TV, and a selection of board games—perfect for spending time together. The wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere, perfect for snuggling up on stormy, rainy days. Right next door is the open kitchen area, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. In addition to a stove and refrigerator, you’ll also find an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher—here, you can really treat yourself.
The large bedroom features a comfortable double bed (approx. 180 x 200 cm) and invites you to enjoy restful nights. The children’s room offers two single beds and a travel crib, perfect for younger guests. A free high chair rounds out the amenities for families.
A private parking space is available next to the house for your car, and there’s also room for your bicycles right outside the door—with the option to lock them securely.

The location couldn’t be better: The “Hinter den Höfen” house is situated in the quiet residential area of Großenbrode, just about 1,000 meters from the beach. Here, your vacation starts right outside the door! Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are within walking distance, as are a bakery and a bike rental shop—ideal for spontaneous outings. And for active guests, there’s a gym just 2,000 meters away.
Leave your car in the house’s parking lot and explore Großenbrode comfortably on foot or by bike. There are regular public buses for trips to Heiligenhafen or Fehmarn. Großenbrode is also the perfect starting point for bike tours—enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge or take a leisurely bike ride to Heiligenhafen.

If you’re dreaming of gently sloping beaches, glowing sunsets, and relaxation for the whole family—then come to Großenbrode on the Fehmarn Sound. The wide, sandy Baltic Sea beach is perfect for digging in the sand and building sandcastles. Little water lovers and swimming enthusiasts can splash around to their heart’s content in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea. Nearby, you’ll find shopping, playgrounds, restaurants, and a variety of recreational activities. Großenbrode has its own train station.
The island of Fehmarn is only about 4 km from Großenbrode, and the Warder town of Heiligenhafen (about 10 km away) also invites you to visit. Here, in addition to the traditional fishing port, you’ll find one of Germany’s largest and most modern marinas, a pier over 500 meters long, and a kilometer-long swimming beach.
