The “Am Hohen Ufer” vacation home community is ideally located for anyone who loves a relaxed getaway. The homes are between 50 and 350 meters from the natural beach. Some of the front-row cottages even have direct beach access.

A short walk takes you to the main beach, restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks along the promenade. A bakery, a bike rental shop, and—for the more athletic guests—a gym are also within a 1,500-meter radius.
You can conveniently park your car right by the house—and feel free to leave it there. The best way to get around here is on foot or by bike. Public buses run several times a day to Heiligenhafen or Fehmarn, giving you plenty of flexibility. In fact, Großenbrode is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: You can reach Heiligenhafen in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike directly to Fehmarn.
