The Location
Our cottage is located in the green countryside of Ursel (Aalter), in the Drongengoed Forest. Hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers can relax here in an oasis of tranquility.

750 hectares of hiking and biking fun, cultural and historical surprises, and nature adventures. That’s the Drongengoed! It’s the largest contiguous forest area in East Flanders and offers plenty of recreational opportunities for everyone.

In addition, the property is ideally located for those who would also like to visit the coast or take a trip to Ghent or Bruges.

The house features a large living area with a wood-burning stove. Spacious open kitchen with a coffee machine (coffee beans), dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction cooktop, and sink.

Bedroom 2: spacious 2double bed and 2 single beds

The property features a large patio and garden with various seating areas. There is a barbecue available for use and a fire pit to make things even cozier. Firewood is always available.

Important note: After 10:00 p.m., it is prohibited to be noisy or disturb the neighbors. This can result in heavy fines from the police—please respect this rule.

In our storage room (garage), there is an extra refrigerator and freezer—always handy—as well as a washing machine.

There is parking space for 2 cars on the driveway.

A 5-minute drive to the town center will take you to a bakery, butcher shop, and small supermarket. There are also plenty of great restaurants in the area. You can find more information in our brochure, which is available in the house.

We provide bed linens and towels.

We provide a few kitchen essentials to cover the first few days of your stay. This includes standard items such as coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper, hand soap, dish soap, a kitchen towel, a dishcloth and sponge, a roll of paper towels, and a trash bag. We also provide a few dishwasher tablets.

CLEANING:
The accommodation has been cleaned. After check-out, cleaning of the accommodations are included in the price. However, we ask all guests to leave the accommodation in a tidy condition.

The accommodations are maintained as well as possible, and any defect or damage must be reported immediately. If any maintenance issues arise, please contact us so we can resolve the problem.
