There is wifi, a washing machine, and extra towels are provided for beach use.

Getting around El Cortecito is easy and convenient. The neighborhood is very walkable, with the beach, restaurants, cafés, shops, and grocery stores all within a short stroll. For trips beyond the area—such as nearby malls, excursions, or other parts of Punta Cana—Uber, local buses, and the `tuk tuks` they call Poppies are readily available and affordable.

Your reservation includes 15 kWh of electricity per day, which typically covers normal use. Electricity is metered and readings are taken at check-in and check-out.

If usage exceeds the included amount, additional electricity is billed at 22.90 Dominican pesos per kWh. Most guests stay within the included allowance and do not see any additional charges. Limiting the use of air conditioning will make a significant difference.

HOUSE RULES:

Excessive electricity use may incur an extra charge. To keep your stay affordable, your reservation includes 15 kWh of electricity per day, which is more than enough for typical use. Incurring an extra charge usually only happens with continuous Air Conditioner use. Make sure you are turning off the A/C before you leave during the day.
In the rare case of higher usage, the additional consumption is charged at RD$21.9/kWh (≈ $0.36 USD per kWh).
