The “Landliebe” apartment was completely renovated and redesigned in 2024. We’ve tried to create an apartment where you can feel at home and find peace and relaxation—for example, with a good book in the “Tower Room” or a glass of wine on the terrace or balcony, both of which offer views of the natural surroundings. A fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer, as well as a bar table and a Senseo coffee maker, ensures that your culinary needs are well taken care of. From the kitchen, you have direct access to the terrace, where a lounge set awaits you so you can start your morning basking in the sun. Whether in the living room on the cozy lounge sofa in front of the flat-screen TV, on the balcony enjoying the evening sun, or at the dining table in the “Tower Room” during a game night—you can wind down after an eventful day before getting a good night’s sleep in one of the two bedrooms, each equipped with box-spring beds (180 x 200 m), so you can start your next day of vacation feeling refreshed. The pillows and comforters are suitable for people with allergies, as they are covered with a special cover. In the bathroom, which is equipped with a toilet, walk-in shower, washing machine, hair dryer, and sink, you can start your new day.

The apartment is located in a rural setting above the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is about 5 km to the main town of Braubach. This is where the 11th stage of the Rheinsteig hiking trail ends and the 12th stage begins—a hike you can combine with a visit to Marksburg Castle. The world-famous Loreley is about 25 km away. In 2029, the Buga will stretch from the Upper Middle Rhine—roughly at the Loreley—all the way to Koblenz, which you’ll reach after about 22 km. Koblenz is the third-largest city in Rhineland-Palatinate, featuring a fascinating old town, lovely bars and restaurants, and the option to take the aerial cableway—located about 200 m from the Deutsches Eck, the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers—to reach the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The spa town of Bad Ems is about 13 km away. This is where the German Emperor and the Russian Tsar once met. Bad Ems is known, among other things, for its magnificent houses and a casino. The Emser Therme, one of Germany’s most modern and attractive wellness spas, offers you another opportunity to relax. But you might also be captivated by the many other 28 castles, castle ruins, and palaces, the steep vineyards, and the Loreley Rock in the Middle Rhine Valley during a boat cruise on the Rhine or while hiking along the trails.
