The property is beautiful and the location and views are spectacular. One big negative, the BEDS are the tallest and almost impossible to ascend (except by our six-footer children) we’ve encountered in our travels, plus no footstools provided. For older folks of less than amazon height, these beds are a deal breaker. Another difficulty for older folks is that the Driveway DOWN to the house ENTRANCE is NOT available for use; so from the street-level Carport, one has to (several times a day) descend/ascend a flight of CEMENT STAIRS whose hand rails STOP short at the most precarious 4 mini-steps at the steep slanted bottom of the staircase. These stairs not a problem for our 50-year-old athletic daughter, her husband and 20-year-old granddaughter; but for older folks with less agile knees, this several-times-a-day long ascent and descent was a literal pain.Less you think my husband and I are decrepit; on the contrary, we are world travelers- with several visits to the British Isles, and to the Continent: Western Europe, including Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, to Eastern Europe from Austria to Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, to Central Asia: Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, to Asia: India, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia; Australia. We stayed 4 nights at this lovely property for younger people, but WE Seniors AFFORDED, CHOSE, AND PAID FOR ENTIRE TRIP. We will not return.
