The location was convenient, quiet and peaceful. We saved gas &parking charges by using the free Trolley (1 block away).
It was spacious and easily accommodated our party of 4 adults & 2 children.
2 main complaints that we relayed to the host were a bad mattress on queen bed (“folded like a taco”) and patio door didn’t lock. The screen door on the back did have a lock.
We loved Bethany Beach & would definitely return to both the rental and the town.

Everything was clean except for the screened in porch. Glass table I do not think was cleaned. Very dirty. In the master bed room I could not reach the fan chain and it did not turn on at the wall switch. We had to call about trash bags and there were none. Had to use recycle bags.

Our kids liked all the antique kind of stuff this house had, like the music pac man arcade machine that worked. It was close enough to the beach for us to walk to and a quiet development. All the bedrooms are upstairs which isn't a bad thing but our parents like to have the bottom floor bedroom.

House is well situated, clean. Fans are a little outdated, the pull chains hitting the light fixtures kept waking us up. Dishwasher wasn't emptied when we arrived. Construction was going on in the connected duplex during our entire stay, so we couldn't sleep in or watch tv at a normal volume. The contractors also set up a sawing work station behind our house so I couldn't sit and read on the screened in porch during the day.
