If you're traveling with someone who has mobility issues, this is a great stay! It's particularly hard in Maine to find a vacation rental that's all on one level and has a walk-in shower - this was a God-send for traveling with my 83-year-old mother-in-law!

Huge snowfall the night we arrived! Power went out, but the house was super prepared with a generator and prompt plowing. The local team was responsive, and the stay couldn’t have been more lovely with snow everywhere and a fire in the fireplace. Bring binoculars to peep birds down on the sound!

The house was as advertised except that he EV charger was a Tesla charger and could not be used by other plug-in EVs. That was not stated in the description. The house was clean, the instructions were clear and in general everything was as we had hoped.I would describe the premises as very minimal.. No chair in the bedroom, no grab bars in the bathrooms, no radios or clocks in the bedroom.

The location was perfect. The layout was compact and convenient. Nice sight lines when traveling with family - you can see what everyone is up to. - A washer and dryer would be a wonderful addition. - The blinds in the bedrooms fall short of the window frame on the left and right sides ,..thus makes you feel less secure - you wonder if passers-by can see in. - The smell in the entry foyer reminded me of rotten bananas - it was pretty bad.
