Maison Hôte

Everything was clean, and the hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast was good!

Unfortunately, it is not ideal if you are a light sleeper, as you can hear everything. Even my husband who is not a light sleeper struggled. We could hear the creaking of the steps as people walked up and down, and it woke us up several times. Also, the rules said no children, so I was shocked when an unruly child crying and throwing a tantrum woke us up early and prevented us from falling asleep the night before. Again, maybe not such a big deal if the sound proofing was a bit better. While it was a relatively nice room, the entire point of a lodging is to sleep, and we woke up very tired from lack of sleep.

The location is very good for different activities such as hiking, skiing. It offers home confort in the middle of beatiful nature. The host is very kind and decorated the rooms with great taste.

I liked every thing

I really enjoyed the staying at Maison Hôte. I would definitely come back again!

We thought it was to be a hotel it was more like a B&B. The breakfast by the owner wasa excellent. As we expected a hotel the room was quite small and the location was somewhat remote from where we had stayed in the past in this area.

Larger room, plus when we checked in we had to hunt for someone to talk to.
