We had a lovely two-week stay at Maison Chinoise Chinatown & Songwat – 4 Beds, 3 Baths. The apartment was super clean, tidy and modern, with everything feeling new. It was spacious and ideal for our group, making it a comfortable place to stay together while exploring Bangkok. We got the sunset apartment. ✨ Clean, Modern & Comfortable The apartment was well maintained and had everything we needed. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses and other essentials, and having air conditioning in every room was a big plus in Bangkok's heat. The beds were also really comfortable, which made a big difference during our stay. The bathrooms are huge. 🔐 Easy & Secure Check-in The self-check-in and check-out process was smooth and convenient. The keycards were kept in a secure lockbox and provided access to the building, lift and apartment. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the contactless process made everything easy. 📍 Fantastic Location The location was definitely one of the biggest highlights! Songwat Road is just around the corner, and Chinatown is only about a five-minute walk away. There is a lively night market right outside the apartment, running approximately from 11 pm to 5 am every day except Monday, with plenty of food and shopping options. There is also a morning market nearby, which is great for breakfast and local shopping. The pier is just a two-minute walk away, making it easy to cross to the other side, where we found another market with generally cheaper prices than Sampheng Market and Chinatown. Having a 7-Eleven right next door and plenty of ATMs nearby was also very convenient. Overall, it was a great base for exploring the local area. 🤝 Helpful & Responsive Staff We had an issue with the extractor fan in the shared bathroom during our stay, but the staff responded very quickly and arranged for it to be fixed promptly. We really appreciated how helpful and responsive they were in resolving the issue.

📝 A Few Things to Note Although the apartment blocks out outside noise well, sound does travel between the rooms, so you can hear others inside the property. Finding the exact drop-off location was also a little tricky, as access takes you through a back alley. The balcony is purely decorative and cannot be used, which is worth knowing before booking. Also, no cleaning or replenishment of essentials was provided during our two-week stay, so we eventually ran out of toilet paper and had to purchase more ourselves. This wasn't a major issue, but considering the length of our stay and the price paid, we would have appreciated some housekeeping and replenishment of essentials. The kitchen has the basic essentials, but having a few larger pots and pans would be helpful for families or groups who enjoy cooking occasionally during their stay. ❤️ Overall Experience Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, modern, spacious and secure, the beds were comfortable, the location was excellent, and the staff were quick and helpful whenever we needed assistance. We would happily recommend this property to families and groups visiting Bangkok. With a little more attention to housekeeping and a few extra kitchen essentials for longer stays, the experience would be even better!
