New property with many good features in rooms and out. Services are at request. A nifty iPad controls room temperature, lights, entertainment and curtains. Shower is great. The bed and bedding are comfortable. The room is relatively quiet although I was near the lifts and that’s not totally true. Common areas are comfortable and meant also as working spaces. The location right on the waterfront in Georgetown is good, however, see below the issues with this location. There are some stairs to go up to M street so it’s a hotel mostly for fit people.

The location is under the freeway, literally. There is a lot of road and other city work around the hotel. The room is very small - strictly for one person with a small carryon. My biggest complaint is the lack of a kettle in the room - such a basic but important item when returning and wanting a tea or instant coffee. Inexplicably there is no make up mirror.

Hotel was fairly new and clean. Hotel best suited for young single travelers. Good mattress on king bed.

Rooms very small, suited for single travelers not couples. One person had to climb over the other to get out of bed. Lot of construction surrounding hotel. Shower door did not stay shut, shower head unit kept sliding down. Parking in garage two blocks away at $29 a night. No coffee maker or microwave in room. Pillows too flat and comforter too heavy, no top sheet - either comforter (too hot) or nothing (too cold).
