This property had outstanding levels of cleanliness, and the hosts were very engaging with a willingness to fix problems. I had an issue with what I considered lukewarm water in the shower, and the mains temperature was adjusted so that I could have a hotter shower. There was great attention to detail, with lots of thoughtful extras including bathroom toiletries and accessories, biscuits, tea, a clean microwave, disposable wipes, and other amenities to help maintain a clean space. The area and house were quiet, the place was warm, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were fresh. Skylights provided good ventilation and natural light, and there was a convenient, close parking space. This place is great for a traveller, someone arriving from abroad, someone trying to settle into the UK, or just an overnight stay.

On the downside, I felt chased before the curfew time was up. This may have been a misunderstanding, as I was back at the property before the deadline, though it did remind me of my teenage years! That said, I was aware of the curfew time before booking. The house rules left in the room were confusingly written, which could be an issue if staying for more than one day.

Not enough tea bags!! But I could have easily asked for more & didn’t, so that’s on me. A mirror is needed in the main bedroom for blow drying your hair.

This is a quiet, well presented guest room. The facilities are excellent, especially the spacious en-suite. The hosts are warm, welcoming and offer a home from home experience. Highly recommend.

Very clean and homely , hospitality very good and helpful for myself having to work nights.
