Wir hatten Shuttle gebucht,Abrechung problemlos bei Ankunft über Kreditkarte möglich.Wir wurden inkl.Koffer abgeholt und auch wieder zurückgebracht.Hotel ist soweit ich weiß erst Sommer 26 erbaut,alles neu u.sauber.Personal alle die wir dort trafen sehr sehr nett.Am meisten hatten wir mit Herrn Sacchin(ich hoffe richtig geschrieben)an der Rezeption zu tun.Sehr freundlich,all unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen.Pool auf dem Dach sehr entspannend,wir hatten ein Top Zimmer,es hatte sich gelohnt Deluxe zu buchen.Maafushi kann man einiges an Ausflügen u Wassersport Aktionen buchen.Standort dafür ist ideal.

Das negative was wir leider anbringen müssen,im Vorfeld vor der Buchung hatte ich zig E-Mails geschrieben an verschiedene E-Mail Adressen die ich bezüglich Triton Exotik gefunden hatte ,da ich Fragen hatte,leider bekam ich nie eine Antwort.Im Hotel die Zimmertür zum Flur ist nicht so dicht,man hört jedes Geräusch auf dem Flur was bei in der Früh abreisenden Gästen ab u zu störend war.Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht.Das Buffet /Auswahl ist sehr begrenzt und bis auf einige wechselnde Kleinigkeiten ,jeden Tag gleich.Die warmen Speisen,Fleisch u.Fisch mit Soße leider immer extrem scharf sodas ich das leider bis auf Reis u Nudel pur meiden mussten,da mein Magen rebellierte.Einige Sachen wie Kuchen u Törtchen u.einige Salate in kl.Schüsseln wurden zudem nur mit Haushaltklarsichtfolie abgedeckt und das bei Fliegenproblem (offenes Restaurant)leider nicht so appetitlich,da sollten richtige feste Klarsichthauben drüber. Ums Hotel herum wird gebaut,überall auf Maafushi entstehen neue Hotels usw.Es gibt jeden Tag lautere Musik bis spät abends.Dann halt Fenster/Balkontür zu,da ist es etwas gedämpft u wir konnten gut schlafen.Die die einen sehr ruhigen Strand Urlaub mit Malediven,Robinsonfeeling suchen werden hier nicht fündig.Aber ich glaub das weiß man vorher,wir waren hier wegen der angebotenen Ausflüge und Wassersport Aktionen vor Ort,die Anbieter sind sehr zahlreich.

The hotel is brand new, modern, very clean, and has excellent air conditioning. The staff were genuinely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The absolute highlight is the rooftop pool with its spectacular 360° panoramic views, especially at sunset. One evening, we watched a rainstorm approaching across the ocean during sunset, which was an unforgettable experience. The views from the ocean-facing balconies are also beautiful. The location is very convenient, particularly if you're arriving or departing by speedboat, as it's close to the harbor. If you're looking for a clean, modern hotel with strong AC, beautiful views, and a lovely rooftop pool, Triton Exotica has a lot going for it.

Unfortunately, the hotel has several design and operational shortcomings. Although the rooms are modern, the shelving, storage, and overall layout of closet and bathrooms aren't particularly practical or comfortable. The balconies are extremely narrow, with chairs positioned sideways because of the limited space. Two people can sit outside, but it's very cramped, with almost no room to move around. The views are beautiful, but the balcony design makes it difficult to actually enjoy the space. Each room receives only ONE key, which is incredibly inconvenient when sharing a room. If one person leaves with the key, the other must wait for someone from reception to come upstairs and unlock the door. I emailed before arriving there was a birthday and there was no acknowledgement. We booked half board, including breakfast and dinner buffets, and unfortunately regretted it. The selection was very limited and repetitive, and the overall food quality was disappointing. Even a burger ordered separately wasn't good, and we were told the burgers were prepared earlier in the day. I would strongly recommend booking without the meal package and exploring other dining options/tours on the island. Laundry prices seemed unusually high. We booked excursions through the hotel, but the boats were overcrowded, with more than 40 passengers on some outings. This felt more like a mass-group excursion than the relaxed, personalized experience we had expected. I'd recommend comparing smaller-group tour operators before booking. (A girl got bit on the shark tour, poor first aid given) The gym and spa were not yet open during our stay, so we couldn't use those facilities. Overall, Triton Exotica is a good choice for modern accommodations, excellent staff, convenient harbor access, and incredible rooftop views.
