Although the washroom and the kitchen is shared, everyone is helping to keep them organized. People are friendly and quiet. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. I’ve been under a lot of stress lately, but I’ve managed to get some really good sleep here. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with.
Many of the facilities are a bit dated, but I think I can live with it.
The only downside is that the stairs and floor creak when you walk on them.

On booking.com, it was not clear that rooms shared a common bathroom. Given the price, that was fine. But it would have been nice to know beforehand.

Central Toronto. The bed was comfortable. Nice little kitchenette.
The host did not seem to know who we were. He asked if we had the right address. The room was fair. The home was noisy at night we were woken twice by people making quite a bit of noise. The toilet was filthy. The kitchenette was good but it had unwashed dishes with food in it in the cupboard.
