It was super clean and the location was great. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The pastoral neighborhood was beautiful to walk around with sheep everywhere! We took the nearby ferry to Inishturk which was gorgeous.

Nothing!

We had a wonderful stay here, it was so quiet and peaceful and situated in a beautiful area. We had loads of room and the farm house was equipt with everything we needed. All my family said that they slept really well which is a bonus for us! It is very clean and we found the beds to be very comfortable, it was also lovely to have a large dining table so that we could all sit down to eat together. Niall is a great host, he is very warm and friendly, he made sure that we had all the information we needed for a smooth check in. We would definately stay here again.

That we couldn't stay longer.

Six of us (including 5 keen hikers) spent 4 days at Peggy’s in Mayo only 10 minutes from the stunning Doolough Valley and equally close to beautiful Silver Strand Beach. The house is set in its own grounds, surrounded by farmland, open country and fantastic views of Ben Bury, Mweelrea and similar peaks. Excellent value for money, spacious, clean, very comfortable, unpolluted by noise or light, the farmhouse is well supplied with household essentials and we had a brilliant stay with Niall the host quick to respond to any queries. The location is perfect for those wanting a short journey to Louisburgh, Westport and Leenane while a little further down the road are the 12 Bens, Letterfrack and equally beautiful Connemara. Really hoping to return to Peggy’s again soon, with thanks again to Niall for a super stay 🥳

Nothing

Beautiful rural location and close proximity to some great pubs (with live music) and a supermarket.

A few things weren’t working but were being fixed soon after we mentioned them to the owner
